How long will it take to finish my project?
This varies greatly depending on the amount and type of content you want on the site or publication, and the availability of that content. Once all files (images, text, etc.) have been gathered, your project can be completed within two-four weeks for custom design and in a matter of days if you are using one of our web design templates.
I live outside your area, can you still provide me with graphic design, web design and copywriting services?
Absolutely. Houseink Design is based in Portland, Oregon but we have clients all over the United States. With the assistance of the Internet and email, we can provide services to clients all over the country.
I already have a logo, brochure and web site, but I want to improve it. Can you help?

Print Design
I would like you to create a Direct Marketing piece for me.Can you also coordinate the sorting and mailing process?
Yes. Houseink Design can help you purchase mailing lists, work with mailing services for sorting, stuffing and addressing mail and make sure that is gets delivered to the USPS in a timely manner. Again, we can either work with your preferred mailing service, or recommend a mailing service that we use on a regular basis. We can make the normally complicated mailing process a breeze for you and your business.
How do I go about getting my material printed?
Houseink Design can email your design to the printer of your choice. If you do not have a printer that you currently work with, we can have your work printed by a printing company that we work with on a regular basis. Houseink Design can work with the printing company to choose the paper, ink color and other parameters to ensure a quality final product.

How will I maintain my Web site once it is built?
Houseink Design develops all websites on a Content Management System. With a CMS driven site, you will have all the tools you need to maintain your site yourself. This is both the best solution for your site and the best use of your dollars and time. However, if you really want to take a hands off approach, we can also maintain your WordPress site for you, in a timely manner. What is Web Hosting?

What is a domain name?
A domain name is your Web site’s address that people type in to visit your site. The ‘houseink.com’ part of our Web address is an example of a domain name.
How do I get a domain name?
Your domain name will be the name of your choosing followed by .com, .net, .org or whichever other applicable extension is available. It is important that you check the availability of the domain name you wish to use, as many are already taken. Once you decide on your domain name and check its availability, you will need to register it for an annual fee, or we can register it for you.
